It is time for the summer holidays, and I’m sure many will be going abroad. However, going on a trip to another country can prove time consuming and very, very expensive. You may think that since you can’t go overseas, you can’t enjoy fun activities. Fortunately, you would be completely wrong. There are many things to do right here in London that won’t cost you a penny. So, for those who don’t have the time or money to go abroad, here are 25 awesome free activities for leisure in London:
- Visit one of the largest and most comprehensive museums in history, with 8 million works, The British Museum.
- Take in the view on a stroll along South Bank right next to the Thames.
- Go to The British Library, one of the largest libraries in the world, with 170-200 million items from different countries.
- Head to the Tate Modern, which houses the UK’s national collection of international modern and contemporary art.
