What to do on a teacher’s strike day off from school? Take the kids to a local church for a mini photo shoot (I wanted to use their blue door as a backdrop)!
We’d been sent some gorgeous boyswear from Småfolk, the super cool kids clothing company based in Denmark.
What I love about Scandinavian design for children is the emphasis on playfulness and individuality as well as functionality. These are styles that are made to stand out from the urban crowd and also can handle the rough and tumble of daily wear.
Here’s their press blurb:
Småfolk’s ideology is based on the 70s. A time when children were allowed to be children and when children’s clothing had one aim: To satisfy the needs of children. Right after that, was the wish for prints which exalt the imagination and capture impressions like color, animals, flowers, fruit, vehicles and tools.
Even wandering around their web site puts you in a brighter mood!
Ezra is dressed in a blue T-shirt with racing cars for ages 9-10 (24.95 eur), with matching blue denim trousers (39.95) and socks with big apple (4.95)
Jed is wearing the T-shirt with multi apples in turquoise for ages 5-6 (24.95 eur), baggy pants in apple green (32.95), plus same socks as above.
I wanted to capture some shots of the boys jumping. It took a little while but we got some good ones in the end – and we had a lot of fun trying to make it happen.
Ready…
Steady…
JUMP!
Ezra’s Review (age 8):
‘I really like Småfolk children’s wear because their clothes are fun to wear and most of their clothes are very very cute. I also like the logo of the brand and the images on the t-shirts. One of my favourite things about the clothes is the colour of the denim trousers. I have to thank Smafolk for the clothes. Thank you Smafolk! Goodbye!’
Keep an eye on the blog to find out how you can win some Småfolk items for your little ones or to send as a gift! And visit www.smafolk.dk to browse their online store. The full range is for children ages 0 to 10.
Here are some more jump shots, just because.

Smafolk is great but those two could wear anything and make it look cool! I’m just wondering when Ezra is starting his own blog – always has such great reviews.

I know Nomita, he’s a blogger in training ;-) He actually insisted on writing his own review and typed it out himself! Of course I do have literary aspirations for him although his life dream is still to be a footballer… maybe he’ll juggle both? ;-)
Honest Mum
Oh my gosh, beautiful and talented too-not surprised and love that the Babes about Town are now taking over the blog themselves, you need to set Ezra up his own blog. Thanks for linking up to #brillblogposts

Haha thanks yes Ezra is most definitely ready for his own blog and Lord help the world once he gets a proper platform to air his many views! xoxo
