Mosh & Wash Music Festival: It’s the Final Countdown!

September 30, 2012 //  by Uju//  2 Comments

Mosh and Wash with Babes

Just beat it!

The babes were rocking out after receiving their Mosh and Wash packs in the post from the good folks at Persil.

Each box contained enough kit to transform my mucky pups into rock stars to rival Snoop Dogg (or should that be Snoop Lion?). There were feathers and bandannas and t-shirts for dress-up, wash tubs and bands to build makeshift guitars, and crayons and face paints for decorating.

Designed to encourage creative play, it’s all part of Persil’s summer-long ‘get messy with music’ campaign. Kids from all over the country sent in photos and videos for Persil’s competition to win their very own Mosh & Wash mini music festival complete with pop star guest Sophie Ellis Bextor and a backing band.

Voting’s still open for the finalists – you can check them out on Persil’s Facebook page and choose your favourite before the competition closes at midnight TONIGHT (Sep 30).

Ezra and Jed made a fashion statement with Batman stickers on their t-shirts. We cut off the bottom of Ezra’s over-sized tee for his Hendrix-style headband. We completed the look with some lightning bolts on his cheeks.

Jed has a bat motif (allegedly) cut-out on the back of his tee and a Batman face paint ‘tattoo’ on his back. At least that’s what it’s meant to be – looks more like a cat jumping off a hot tin roof!

Add some shades and Ezra’s trademark snarl and they were ready to thrash out a full-blown rock concert – all before noon, Lucky neighbours!

Visit Persil’s Get Messy with Music page to vote for your favourite little rocker, for tips on making your own musical instruments and more!

Your boys are sooo utterly stunning-little superstars and so cool. I’d expect nothing less with you as their Mama x
