British Mummy Bloggers, Come Hither!

April 1, 2011 //  by Uju//  2 Comments

Friends, Romans and mummy bloggers, lend me your posts.

My sincere thanks goes out to the lady who sent me a polite request for my Carnival theme this month.

In the maelstrom of everything going on, I had plain forgotten that I was hosting such an event. Whoops!

Ahem, back to business *adjusting shoulder pads*.

The next British Mummy Bloggers Carnival lands here on Tuesday April 12, the same day as the launch of the Action for Happiness, a national campaign to encourage more happiness in our daily lives.

Since my one-word resolution for 2011 is Celebrate and I’m a new follower of Gretchen Rubin’s The Happiness Project, I’m gonna call it a happy twist of fate.

Have you guessed my theme? Please send me your favourite or most recent posts on the theme of Happiness. The interpretation is up to you.

Some prompts: What makes you happy? What saps the happiness from your existence? Do you believe in the pursuit of happiness as a basic human right or is that just a little too Yankee doodle for you? What made you smile recently? When was the last time you felt pure, unadulterated joy?

Email: editor@babesabouttown.com

Send them in by midnight Saturday April 9 – the more, the merrier (wa-hey). I’ll do my best to post as many as I can with a link back to each blog. It’s a great way to help you find and gain new readers and hopefully have a whole heap of fun.

I can’t wait to read them. And Happy April, everyone!
