Check 5: I’m So Eggs-cited!

March 26, 2010 //  by Uju//  Leave a Comment

So many eggs, so little time.

We’ve grabbed a handful of ideas for where you and your chocoholic chicks can go Easter eggs a-trailing.

1. Easter Egg Hunt at Clifton Nurseries
Pre-booking is essential for this popular hunt around London’s oldest garden centre in W9. Colour pictures, search for chocolate eggs and pot spring plants from 3-4.30pm, £3 per child. (Mar 31)

2. National Trust Easter Egg Trail
The big daddy of Easter egg trails happens at National Trust sites all over the UK. London events are at Sutton House (Hackney), Red House (Bexleyheath), Fenton House (Hampstead) and Morden Hall Park (Wimbledon & Sutton). See web site for details. (varying dates, Apr 2-5)

3. London Eye Cheeky Chick Hunt
Ride the London Eye to spot one of 10 eggs nested around the capital by the Cheeky Chick. Winners get prizes worth upwards of £400. (Apr 2-18)

4. Lauderdale House Easter Fun
Meet on the tea lawn for Easter egg decorating, an egg hunt and the grand finale, the Great Egg Roll. Arrive early as it’s first come, first served. Tickets on sale from 10.30am, event 11am-1pm. £6 per child. (Sun Apr 4)

5. Thornton’s Bunny Trail at Covent Garden
Hop along for a magical hunt around Market Building and get a milk chocolate Thornton’s egg if you complete the trail. At 2pm and 4pm over Easter Bank Holiday weekend. (Fri Apr 10-Mon Apr 13)
