Win Rachel’s yummy bag!

January 30, 2011 //  by Uju//  Leave a Comment

We’ve become a household of Rachel converts.

And no, this has nothing to do with Team Aniston vs. Team Brangelina nor indeed a certain cult haircut from ’90s series Friends.

I’m talking about Rachel’s Organic, a range of deliciously creamy, no evil stuff allowed, dairy products.

We were sent a batch to review including Rachel’s Low Fat Vanilla, Raspberry and Strawberry pots and some from her kids’ varieties My First Yoghurts and Taste Explorers.

Like most teenies, Ezra and Jed eat a lot of yoghurt. Normally I grab the nearest available known brand of yoghurt or fromage frais for the babes.

These brands boast about their fruit and additive-free content but it turns out they’re actually loaded with sugar.

Rachel’s My First Yoghurts and Taste Explorers contain no added refined sugar but are sweetened instead with fruit juice and puree. After several failed attempts in the past to feed them plain yoghurt with fruit slices, I thought the boys might wrinkle their noses at Rachel’s subtle blend.

In fact, they lapped them up.

Ezra particularly loved the Apple & Apricot and the Strawberry.

Jed loved them all. Afterwards, he tried to eat the pot.

And I don’t know if it’s down to the organic milk but the low-fat yoghurts tasted even smoother and more luscious than the ones I normally buy.

When I mentioned Rachel’s to a friend, she recommended the coconut yoghurt so I had to give it a try.

Add this to your shopping list, my tasty friends: Rachel’s Greek Organic Coconut Yoghurt.

So yummy, I almost guzzled the entire pot in one sitting.

The only downside to Rachel’s products is that they don’t seem to be readily available at my local Co-Op and you have to hunt them down at larger supermarkets.

**WIN A BAG OF RACHEL’S GOODIES!**

Luckily, we’ve got one cooler bag filled to the brim with luscious Rachel’s Organic goodies for your whole family to enjoy and it’s up for grabs!

This contest is only open to Babes about Town subscribers based in the UK.
