Enter a secret world of ciphers and crime, and get ready to crack some codes. Discover 100 years of gadgets used to convey and decode top secret messages. Learn about the Enigma code in 1941 and 1960s Cold War spy craft, and try out the interactive puzzle zone. Walk with creatures from history at the epic Beasts of London exhibition (ongoing), or take part in summer holiday activities like a Roman London family walk or Great Fire of London family walk. Over at Museum of London Docklands, there’s more to do like build boats, make pirate pictures or explore the popular Mudlarks play space for toddlers. It’s a mouthful to say but it’s basically building with white LEGO bricks, drawing inspiration from the Tate’s major exhibition of playful visionary. Visit the exhibition Olafur Eliasson: In Real Life (until Jan 5, 2020, charges apply), then sit at a large table in the Turbine Hall and help modify (or take apart) a giant construction along with fellow visitors.
