Are you one of those smug types who’s always sorted for Christmas gifts by November 30? Or do you panic buy on Christmas Eve, then spend ages swapping stuff in the Boxing Day sales? However you like to shop, I recommend checking out the Amazon Home of Black Friday pop-up, open from today (Tue) until Friday in central London.

Having heartily embraced the Black Friday tradition (and what’s not to embrace, or do you hate a bargain?!), Amazon has set up this super cool venue where visitors can explore over 100 curated Black Friday deal items. The Home of Black Friday pop-up features 5 themed rooms: a kitchen and living space, a beauty parlour and bedroom, a gaming and tech zone, a creative workshop, and a kids play and storytelling area.

You can stroll through, scanning QR codes to buy any product via the Amazon app. There’s also a Prime Now delivery area in the lobby and Black Friday deals can be ready for pick-up within two hours!

Aside from shopping until your shoulder blades pop, you can take part in fun and free activities throughout the week. Get gifting tips from expert and founder of The Retail Champion, Clare Bailey. Play games and win prizes, sample edible goodies, try workshops with some of the Amazon Handmade Artisans, or meet TV chef Gizzi Erskine and YouTube beauty star Lottie Tomlinson.

I was invited to the exclusive Home of Black Friday preview last night, a fab evening of cocktails and canapés. It was great to bump into lovely blogger, Emma of The Joy of Five, who had a mini makeover in the beauty parlour. I was busy sampling delicious Godiva chocolates and Joe and Seph’s popcorn, which comes in unusual flavours like chilli chocolate caramel and gin & tonic!

The babes were jealous when I told them about the gaming zone. But my favourite spot was the workshop where the Cozy Glow team were creating candles from scratch.

Cozy Glow produce all-natural, organic and vegan soy candles, handmade in batches of 10. It was cool to see the candle-making process and the room smelled like heaven.

They will even customise your candle with its own label for a unique Christmas gift. I was thrilled to take home a personalised candle with my name and its meaning: Uju – Abundance.

Abundance is one of my life mottos and there is good stuff in abundance at the Home of Black Friday pop-up. Catch it if you can!

**If you’re not able to come to central London, you can still get a head start on Christmas shopping through Amazon’s Black Friday Deals Store, now open until 23.59pm on Sun Nov 26.

Home of Black Friday Pop Up is open from Tue Nov 20 to Fri Nov 24, 12.30pm-7.30pm daily, at 13 Soho Square, central London (Oxford Circus tube).
