We’re getting festival fever here at Babes HQ while putting together our annual Family Festivals guide and dreaming of sunshine, open spaces and live music.
This year we’re looking a little further afield to some family friendly festivals in Europe that sound simply amazing (with an elongated aaaaah).
Today, it’s all about Sunsplash Festival, the gorgeous looking festival in Turkey that’s moving to a new home on Aspat Beach in Bodrum this June.
Now in its 6th year, Sunsplash Festival has been described as the ‘biggest little festival in the world’ and attracts top DJs from around the world including resident DJ Giles Peterson.
Headline acts for 2014 include Giles Peterson along with Osunlade, Zara McFarlane, Phil Asher, Trueby, DJSoulProvyder and many more playing everything from soulful dance and electronica to hip hop, jazz, Afrobeats and all shades of disco.
All this is set against the stunning backdrop of the Turkish mediterranean with beachside yoga, outdoor workshops, tropical bars, windsports and boutique accommodation on offer.
