Win a Set of Colorblind Cards and Journal worth £39!

November 26, 2013 //  by Uju//  21 Comments

Colorblind Cards personalised reindeer

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR WINNER LISA ANN! NB: THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED, THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO TOOK PART.

We received some gorgeous Christmas cards to review from Colorblind Cards, the UK’s leading manufacturer of multi-racial greeting cards. They’re so darn pretty I almost don’t want to mail them off to someone else!

Colorblind Cards personalised Christmas cards

Personalised in handwritten font, each card features an adorable model and a sweet, seasonal message.

Colorblind Cards is the ‘third baby’ of dynamic entrepreneur and mama-of-two Jessica Huie who came up with the concept when her daughter Monet was just seven-years-old.

Colorblind Cards journal

She went out looking for a birthday card featuring a princess that looked like her little girl, but could find nothing on the market.

So Jessica set about creating her own range in 2007 and within six months, Colorblind Cards was stocked in 100 branches of Clinton Cards, numerous independents, Moonpig.com and had secured distribution in the US, Barbados, South Africa and Bermuda.

Colorblind Cards for babies

She’s been nominated for awards and you’ll soon see Colorblind Cards popping up in major supermarkets across the UK!

Professionally shot by acclaimed photographer to the queen Nina Duncan, Colorblind Cards is a refreshing alternative to the typical cookie cutter greeting cards on the market . And while they cater particularly to an underrepresented Black and mixed-race audience, Colorblind Cards celebrates all shades of skin.

Colorblind Cards for girls classy and fabulous

It’s easy to take these things for granted but I remember growing up surrounded by blonde Barbie dolls and at times, questioning my own appeal. Children need positive role models and images that reflect their unique heritage.

Colorblind Cards believes: The only thing that should be separated by colour is laundry!

I absolutely love this message and their collection of cards, journals, notepads, calendars and other gift items is truly fabulous.
