‘White noise, white noi-yeese…’ I love that Disclosure track although when it’s pumping on the radio my 7-year-old begs me to turn it down (he hates it).

Now some clever clogs (New Zealand dad Mark Hubble) has come up with a gizmo called Magic Mitten, that you place against your baby’s ear and it plays them white noise that only they can hear!

This gadget promises to bring relief to sleep-deprived parents by helping settle babies, including little ones suffering with colic. The Magic Mitten is easy to use while carrying your bubba and small enough to slip into your bag, so it’s great to travel with too.

Even I’m getting drowsy just thinking about Magic Mitten’s three sound options that include a mother’s heartbeat, ocean waves and rain on a tin roof.
