We’re having a bit of a dinosaur moment, having just been to see Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo in Regent’s Park (review soon).
So I was a bit disappointed to learn that the upcoming Dino Snores for Grown Ups event at Natural History Museum is already SOLD OUT.
Fear not, dear readers. If you fancy taking your favourite geek for a truly ferocious night out, you can book ahead for upcoming sleepovers from October all the way through December 2014.
A Night at the Museum
At the brand new adult version of the hugely popular Dino Snores for Kids, you and your other half can camp out for one unforgettable night in the halls of the Natural History Museum.
There’s a jurassic menu of entertainment lined up including: a 3-course dinner and breakfast in the Museum’s Restaurant; a science show where you can learn about the intricate Sex Lives of Insects; a dinner time quiz with great prizes up for grabs; a life-drawing class in the Darwin centre; stand-up comedy and live music; an all-night monster movie marathon; a midnight feast with some edible-insect tasting…
And the main attraction of course, a sleepover in Central Hall under the iconic Diplodocus skeleton aka Dippy.
Can we dig it? Yes we can.
Tickets are available for Dino Snores for Grown Ups on Oct 19 from 7.30pm until 9.30am the next day at Natural History Museum, Cromwell Rd, SW7 (South Kensington tube). £175 per person/£160 members. Early booking recommended. Ages 18+.
Dates with Dads is a new series on Babes about Town where we suggest fun ideas for ‘date nights’ or afternoon escapes with your baby daddy, either at home or around town. Look out for more coming soon!

Wow this sounds amazing! You have to try this with your man Uju and let us know. I once went to an FHM party at the museum when at uni which was insanely good fun! Definitely ‘wild’! x
Uju
Haha FHM party at the museum sounds beyond ‘wild’… you’ll have to fill me in over cocktails sometime! I have dropped the hint to the mister, let’s see if he picks it up ;-)
