Trendy Toddlers on Brick Lane

February 21, 2012 //  by Uju//  6 Comments

We were out on Brick Lane last Sunday, feeling like bad boys in our sunglasses. Mummy took a picture of us outside a shop called Rokit and she gave us high fives for ‘attitude’.

So many people were waving and pointing and clicking cameras, I almost thought I was famous (well, we do have our own rap video)!

Somebody said I was a ‘mini Lenny Kravitz’. Whatever. I bet Lenny’s scooter’s not as cool as mine!

Ever since Daddy started selling hotdogs on Brick Lane, we seem to spend a lot of Sundays there.

It’s so exciting – lots of interesting looking people on the street selling toys and clothes and food. And the whole place smells delicious.

We always head straight for The Rib Man who gives us yummy rib sandwiches for lunch.

Sometimes we hang out in the courtyard at Vibe Bar with Daddy and other times we walk to Spitalfields City Farm to see the animals.

If Daddy’s busy, Mum takes us to Rich Mix down the road where there’s always something fun going on for families. And nobody gets cross with us (apart from mummy) when Ezra and I chase each other around the floor!

I did lots of chasing in my brand new football boots. I got them for my birthday last week – what do you think?

Jed’s kit
Shades – Brick Lane market stall
Biker jacket (as before) – Zara Kids
Cord trousers – H&M
Football Boots – Clarks
Mini micro scooter – John Lewis

Ezra’s kit
Shades – Brick Lane market stall
Puffer jacket with hood – Gap Kids
Sonic hoodie – Next
Jeans – Next
Trainers – Next

Editor’s Note: Look out for a Foodie Friday feature on the Rib Man coming soon!

Don’t forget to visit the other Trendy Toddlers every Tuesday on Mummy’s Busy World.

Thanks Jenny, it really was funny how many heads they turned. I must say they’re very easy to dress, because they wear it so well! Thanks for dropping by :-)

You are killing it Uju! I just love the boys and their style. Sorry about not coming by last week and not doing anything this week. We have been having a tough few days here and I have been laying low. Sharing this now! xx

Ok so totally not surprised people stopped to take pictures, the boys look like mini models- child actors!
Super cute and stand out from the crowd!
Also can’t wait for your foodie Friday post!

Hi Circusmum, lol they certainly felt like superstars. It does make me laugh how naturally they take to posing, I do wonder if I should have attempted to sign them up to some kind of agency after all! Sounds like a lot of work though. Foodie Friday will be coming soon, although I lost some of the yummy photos I took on my iPhone :(
