Bubble London: Cool Kidswear on Show

February 7, 2012 //  by Uju//  8 Comments

Mummy took me to a show called Bubble London last week.

Popping bubbles? I thought, no sweat. But actually it was all about kids’ fashion.

I felt right at home in my Rolling Stones tee.

Everyone was so warm and friendly – the ladies from Frugi even let me run around on their lawn.

We also met the woman from Fabric Flavours who made my super cool Sesame Street t-shirt.

Mum spent ages at the Quince stand chatting to the label owner. I wasn’t too sure about this guy – I mean, he put badgers and foxes on everything.

What’s up with that?!

These Pippo trainers were more my flavour. Can I get a pair, Mummy?

Rockabye Baby was also speaking my language, and guess what? It’s not just baby talk. The lady told mum she makes clothes for kids as old as 10. She wraps them up to look like an LP… whatever that is!

It was a really fun show.

I wanted to ride off into the sunset on this Wishbone Bike.

Mum made us give it back and take the buggy home instead.

Talk about bursting my Bubble!

Editor’s Note: Bubble London is the only childrenswear trade show in London, showcasing a range of high quality fashion including handmade and ethically-sourced products. We were especially wowed by Hucklebones, Red Urchin, Aravore, Union Jack & Jill and Impkids.

Keep an eye out over the coming weeks as we spotlight more of the designers and ranges we loved!

Don’t forget to check out Trendy Toddler Tuesday at Mummy’s Busy World every week!

Hi Laura, Bubble is a trade show that’s not actually open to the regular public. However we’ll be featuring some of the shops and brands we saw in the run-up to the next Bubble event this summer. And all the retailers should be listed on the Bubble web site – most have online shops for you to browse. Let me know if there’s anything in particular you were looking for!

Thanks ‘babes about town’ for saying you were wowed by redurchin.

The public can order at redurchin.co.uk – we also have union jack tees, but no adult sizes sadly!
