Indulge your inner chocoholic, catch a puppet show and be sure to get out and enjoy the warmer weather. Happy weekend!

Sat-Sun: Punch & Judy at Museum of London, London Wall EC1
Victorian entertainment with a spin for modern kids in panto-style puppetry, part of the museum’s lively Easter programming. 11am, 12.30pm, 2pm & 3.30pm, Free (Apr 9-10)

Sun: Taking Root: Family Day at Camden Arts Centre, NW1
Come out for a spot of gardening inspired by the new Pino Pascali exhibition. Suitable for all the family. 2-4pm, Free (Apr 10)

Local Pick
Sat: Shrek at Everyman Screen on the Green, Islington Green, N1
The ogre who became a franchise. Catch the original (and possibly the best) outing for Dreamworks’ animated comedy in the comfy surrounds of Everyman’s cinema. 10.30am, £4 child/1 adult free per child ticket (Apr 9)
