Fri-Sat: A Christmas Carol by the Pantaloons, The Scoop at More London, SE1
There’s hijinks and high spirits as Scrooge gets his comeuppance in this twisty version of Dickens’ fable told with puppetry and carols. Free, open-air show (dress warm!) from 6pm. (Dec 17-18)

Fri-Sun: Scooby Doo Mystery Mansion at Westfield London, W12
Be part of Scooby’s gang in this soft play maze filled with hidden trap doors, revolving bookcases and Scooby Villains to defeat. Jedward not included. From shopping centre opening hours until 8pm (Mon-Sat), or 6pm (Sun). Suitable for ages 4+, £3. Near NEXT/NW entrance on concourse by bus terminal (ends Jan 4)

Fri-Sun: Marveland Design Exhibition & Pop-up Shop at The Garage, Brompton SW3
A special Christmas show and shop featuring original artwork and designs created and developed by children as well as established designers. 12-4pm and 6-8pm (ends Dec 20)

Local Pick

Sat: Elf at Screen on the Green Kids Club, Islington Green, N1
Seasonal family fun with Will Ferrell in goofy form as the misfit elf, brought up in the North Pole, who returns to NYC to find his birth family and the true meaning of Christmas. £5 tickets, 10.30am start. (Dec 18)
