  1. Hi there! Thanks for stopping by my Everyday Bliss Blog! No wonder you were having Monday Blahs… what a time of it you have had lately!! Glad your little one is recovering.

Oh the dreaded pox! I thought my daugher had it a few weeks ago. Turns out it was just your run-of-the-mill red blister with clear fluid in it. Gross!!

I’m sorry you had to endure the chicken pox. Next to ukus (head lice) it’s probably one of the worst things you could wish upon your worst enemy.

I LOVE that you include alternate remedies in your post! Sometimes you need ALL the information to best help a little one.

Sending your little ones healing thoughts!

    Stopping by from SITS.

Hi HH, I’m pleased you found this helpful and I find the alternate remedies are often just as effective. I do have my doubts about that calamine lotion! Thanks for the healing energy.

    hi there,

thanks for visiting me and leaving words of positivity – means so much. Would love you to do a shout out about the Living with Autism Art project in putney library (on until 19th June)

Let me know if you need more info or anything. couldn;t find your email hence the comments reply!

We’re just getting over the pox at our house. Our doctor said NOT to use calamine lotion because it actually dries out the blisters and can cause scars. So we used aloe vera type gel stuff instead, and antihistamine. Both my two had a mild dose, and they came out all right. :)

    Stopping by from SITS. :)

Hi Amelia, thanks for dropping by, I really appreciated your post. I will definitely put something on the blog about the project. Wishing you all the best!

Hi Broot, well thanks for the info about calamine lotion – I wish it was easier to get more candid and current advice from doctors like that! Aloe Vera sounds like a great idea. Thanks for stopping by.
