oooh i love this post though!!!am in cape town (south africa) so am kinda in teh heart of the whole world cup thing. have been looking for a personalised shirt for my lil fish but i’ll be damned if i can find one :/ you’d think they’d have them available in his size here but you’d be thinking so wrong. eventually gave up and converted arm warmers into leg warmers for him so he can have a bit of soccer spirit LOL

Oh cool to hear from someone in Cape Town, what’s the mood there like? It must be mad. Would love to see a pic of your boy in his arm/leg warmers lol

We haven’t caught soccer fever – yet! We caught “lacrosse fever,” so it’s only a matter of time before we catch soccer fever!! (from SITS)
Dumb Mom
Dumb Dad and The Dudes are all over World Cup. They are soccer players themselves so I guess it’s to be expected, but still, how long does this thing last? I’m ready for it to be over and it hasn’t even really started yet!
Uju
Hey Lynn, well our fridge is already stocked with beers and even our son’s nursery’s getting in on the action and screening a match for parents and kids to watch. We’re footie mad over here!
Uju
Hi Dumb Mom, yup Mr. Babe has stocked up with the cold ones and it’s going to be non-stop over here for A WHOLE MONTH! Actually I do get quite excited over the World Cup I have to say…you’re lucky you don’t have the endlessness of the Premiership to contend with!
