I’m a total film nut but don’t get out to the cinema as much as I’d like since having bubbas.
One movie that’s on my hit list is upcoming release Friends with Kids, an ensemble comedy starring Adam Scott, Jennifer Westfeldt, Maya Rudolph and Edward Burns.
The film seems to put an interesting spin on the whole ‘friends with benefits’ concept e.g. a couple of buddies decide to have children together and still date other people. Of course things don’t go according to family planning.
It’s written and directed by Westfeldt who made Kissing Jessica Stein, another movie that managed to turn the standard rom-com on its head. Friends with Kids has been described as the funniest comedy of its kind since Bridesmaids. Check out the trailer below!
