Hot to Trot in Chinatown (Trendy Toddler)

January 24, 2012 //  by Uju//  10 Comments

Mummy took me to Chinatown last week, near Leicester Square. I was happy as she said we might eat dim sum and I love dumplings.

She said she wanted to take a picture of me for Trendy Toddler Tuesday so I gave her my best Zoolander pose.

She was telling me to raise my head but I was too busy thinking about lunch.

Then I finally looked up and wow, look at all those lanterns. They’re beautiful! Like big paper footballs I want to reach up and kick (Arsenal)!

Chinatown is very colourful and smells delicious. We walked past stalls selling dragon masks to celebrate the Year of the Dragon and one man gave me a red balloon that said Happy Chinese New Year.

Everybody gets to be an animal in the Chinese horoscope.

Mum says I’m an Ox and that my stripy wellies are hot to trot!

Trousers – H&M
Jacket (as before) – Zara Kids
Boots – Next

Kung Hei Fat Choy – Happy Chinese New Year!

Don’t forget to check out Little M’s Trendy Toddler Tuesday every week on Mummy’s Busy World!

He is sooo gorgeous, and what a fab ‘set’ for a fashion shoot and beautiful shots. I just spotted this linky for the first time today, might have to play next week! I knew I would get all nostalgic for London if I came to visit you!

Hi Penny, thanks I couldn’t resist getting him under those lanterns and it did make me laugh the way he was like ‘whatever’ until he finally clocked the big red balls hanging over him! Definitely get into Trendy Toddler Tuesday – it’s where the cool kids hang ;-)

Can you make it down here tonight? ;-) I jest of course, even though they both drive me INSANE at times, I wouldn’t trade them for the world. Then again we could play swapsies sometime just to see ;-)

Singing..**do do your thang** the pictures are fantastic and the styles are out of this world. Looking good little man. As always, 10 out of 10! Little M has been seeing dragons and lanterns too, but not in Chinatown, just our local shopping mall. Not the same, eh?

Well whereever he’s hanging, I know Little M is stylin’! We’re hoping to catch some of the Chinatown celebrations this weekend, so possibly a chance for more J posing although I think I’ll give Trendy Toddler over to Mr E next week :-)

Thanks so much Alex, actually I have a ‘secret helper’ with my photos called Camera+, a little iPhone app that I love. It’s a big change from when I was stuck with my 2 megapixel camera phone before!
