Babes on school break

February 12, 2010 //  by Uju//  Leave a Comment

It’s half-term for the half pints, but surely we’re the ones who deserve a break?

This school holiday ask not what you can do for your little ones. Ask instead what your littles ones can do with you.

We’ve listed some daily doings for uppercase Babes where your lowercase troops are most welcome:

From Fri 12: Valentine’s at Selfridges
Personalise cupcakes or chocolates for your amour in the food halls then swing by the lingerie department for a lesson in seduction.

Sat 13: My Sugarland Yummy Mummy Club
Celeb stylist Zoe Lem helps bumpalicious babes and new mamas discover their inner divas in this monthly fashion session at the N1 boutique.

Sun 14: The Treatment Rooms at Cupcake Spa
Indulge in a his & hers massage at Cupcake spa and relax knowing the kids are well looked after in the creche at this Putney club.

Mon 15: Mummy Mornings at Westfield Shopping Centre
Artsy mums and their mini maestros create canvases in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer at this popular cakes, coffee and chat event.

Tues 16: Great Spitalfields Pancake Race
Crepe lovers flip out as sponsored tossers race along Dray Walk in east London in this annual charity event.

Wed 17: A Single Man (Baby Club) at Everyman Screen on the Green
See Colin Firth’s award-winning turn in designer Tom Ford’s film debut at the new Islington parent & baby film club.

Thu 18: Cuban Stories
Three photographers document the vivid history of Cuba in this free exhibition at Bethnal Green’s Rich Mix art space. Until Feb 27

Fri 19: The Baby Show at ExCel London
Eat, play and bag a bargain for your bump or growing brood at the UK’s biggest exhibition for new and expecting parents. Until Feb 21

Sat 20: Havana Rakatan
Do the mambo mama at a matinee performance of this stomping fiesta that brings Havana to the Peacock Theatre in EC2. Until Mar 6

Sun 21: Phoenix Palace
Celebrate Chinese New Year with dim sum and over 300 dishes at this top NW1 restaurant that caters for even the tiniest diner.
