What to Watch on Amazon Prime Video this Half Term + Win a Fire Kids Tablet £99.99!

Ronja the Robbers Daughter on Amazon Prime Video

Every half term and holiday, I produce an action-packed guide to getting out there and making the most out of London for kids (February half term guide out TODAY). The truth is, while I love stomping around the city with my Babes about Town, we also enjoy hunkering down for a few duvet and pyjama days in front of the box. I’ve been a member of Amazon Prime for a couple of years now. Aside from how much easier it is to shop for gifts, groceries, books and other products, I like browsing for what to watch on Amazon Prime Video instant streaming.

Amazon Prime Video offers a fantastic line-up of programmes for all ages, from their Amazon Originals to popular movies and box sets. The best part is that you can try it FREE for 30 days, no obligations, although it’s a fair bet that like us you’ll want to carry on your subscription for longer (it’s only £5.99 monthly). Amazon Prime Video provides unlimited streaming of films and TV shows anywhere, anytime to all your devices including TV, laptop/computer, tablets, mobile phones, Xbox etc.

Santa gave the kids their own Kindle Fire tablets a couple of Christmases ago, allowing Jed to binge on Pokemon everybody to choose their own content and saving endless squabbles over what to watch on Amazon Prime Video. Scroll down to find out how you can win a Fire Kids Edition worth £99.99 for your own child, a lovely gift from Amazon!

The Amazon Prime Video Half Term Content for Kids this February includes some of our favourite children’s films, as featured in our Top 150 Family Films of all time.

What to Watch on Amazon Prime Video this Half Term

Paddington on Amazon Prime

Babes Recommends: Movies for Kids

Paddington
Sweet, cuddly and very funny movie about the loveable bear from Peru who finds a home in London, from the makers of Harry Potter.

The LEGO Movie
While LEGO Batman soars into cinemas, watch (or re-watch) this hilarious story of an unlikely hero who learns to fight baddies and find his inner awesome.

Shaun the Sheep
The TV sheep makes his big screen debut in the Big City, in this madcap tale featuring animals on the rampage and a farmer who’s lost his mind, as well as his sheep.

On Our Watch List

David Brent: Life on the Road (15)
Ricky Gervais reprises his role as The Office anti-hero David Brent, chasing his rock star dreams. Cringe worthy comedy at its finest.

Ronja, The Robber’s Daughter
The daughter of a professional robber befriends the son of her father’s rival in this epic fantasy series from award-winning Studio Ghibli.

TV Picks for Younger Viewers

Tumble Leaf Season 2
Amazon Originals series for preschoolers about Fig, a tiny blue fox and his many adventures with friends.

Creative Galaxy
Join Arty and his sidekick Epiphany as they search the galaxy in search of answers, using art!

Babes Recommends: Movies for Grown Ups

Interstellar
Mysterious and mystical tale of a man whose journey through a wormhole to save his species turns up more than a few surprises.

The Dark Knight Rises
The third (and the best) in Christopher Nolan’s dystopian take on the Batman legend.

Moonrise Kingdom
Quirky, thoughtful and funny coming-of-age romance from the off-kilter genius of Wes Anderson.
