Summer is here… or is it? The British weather is keeping us on our toes as usual. I’m wearing sandals with socks and never leaving the house without a coat and scarf, sunglasses, sunscreen, neck fan and an umbrella. Good times. The Big Fish Little Fish Horniman Rave is postponed until September because of crazy winds expected on Saturday, but don’t let that blow down your summertime plans. My London Family Summer Holiday Guide comes to the rescue, stacked with parties and festivals, outdoor theatre, nature activities, creative workshops, free fun and more.
If in doubt, head to the Southbank Centre or to King’s Cross where for the first 2 weeks of summer Ruby Violet is giving out 99p ice cream cones that actually cost 99p. Hurry though — first come, first served.
Have a brilliant summer, whatever you do or wherever you go. Don’t forget to keep up with me on social media @Babesabouttown!
