*COVER REVEAL*: A World for Me And You

I’m so thrilled to finally be able to share the cover for A World for Me and You, my first picture book in collaboration with award-winning illustrator Jennie Poh. We’ve been working on this book since 2020 so it’s amazing to see it in print and about to hit shelves on May 12.

I wrote this book as an affirmation for the beauty in our differences. Sometimes the terms ‘diversity’ and ‘inclusion’ sound like empty corporate buzz words. I wanted to reclaim inclusion as our birthright on this vast, gorgeous planet where EVERYONE should feel welcome. I wanted to reclaim diversity as part of the miracle of being alive.

This picture book is bursting with colours and flavours and fun. It evokes the pure delight of embracing each other and ourselves and feeling beautiful in our various skin tones. Jennie Poh’s illustrations are stunning and I’m so proud to have collaborated on this book with such a talented artist. I hope readers big and small adore it too.

A World for Me and You is aimed at ages 5-7, although I think younger and older ones can appreciate it. The picture book will be published on May 12, 2022 by Wren and Rook (Hachette Children’s Group).
