West London gets lit for Christmas with the return of the Magical Lantern Festival at Chiswick House and Gardens. Ride on the Slideatron, a Christmas tree with a twist, that offers a 20m long thrill slide. It takes 18 seconds to ride, if you have the baubles! Experience the sights and smells of a Gingerbread City (pictured) that’s been designed, baked and built by real architects, part of an annual fundraiser for the Museum of Architecture. It’s the coolest rink in the Capital, with DJs on rotation and a drop dead gorgeous backdrop. Spin your munchkins around or sign ‘em up for Skate School for beginners or the Polar Cub Club for under 8s. Viewers can hang out in Fortnum’s Lodge for food and hot drinks, or browse the Christmas arcade.
