Big Fish Little Fish Giveaway Collage

It’s not every day you walk onto a dancefloor surrounded by knee-high party animals and find yourself in a free concert from a class act.

At the last Big Fish Little Fish family rave we attended at super cool Electrowerkz in Islington, we were lucky enough to catch Roisin Murphy of Moloko fame performing a surprise gig.

What a treat catching @RoisinMurphy live at @bflfevents #familyrave #singitback #kidslondon #fun #disco #music #house #party #play #instagood #instafun #instakids

She sang songs from her new album as well as her hits, including Sing it Back and the crowd (old and young) were loving it from start to finish.

It was also great to bump into a lovely Babes about Town family of readers whom we’d first met at OnBlackheath festival last summer: Sheila Emilia and her daughter Isadora, 14 months (main pic, top left). Hope to catch you guys at the next OnBlackheath festival in September. Shout out also to Rich and Arthur, age 3 (bottom left), who was rocking his fancy dress!

Big Fish Little Fish are gearing up for the final party of the season, ahead of a busy summer that will find them at Camp Bestival and forming some exciting new partnerships (watch this space). Every BFLF event features proper club DJs spinning child friendly tunes, crafts, activities, stalls, effects, baby chillout, play area, licensed bar, parachute dance and a really welcoming vibe.

Visit Big Fish LIttle Fish at The Paperworks in Elephant and Castle on SUNDAY JUNE 14. 2-4.30pm, adult £8 adv, £10 door (cash only)/child £4.50 adv, £5 door/prewalkers FREE (Jun 14)
