Bring your wool and needles and get clacking at this special event organised by Britain from Above and RAF Museum. The goal? To wrap an aircraft in knitting (or crochet). All ages, and abilities, welcome. 11am-4pm, FREE (until Feb 21)
Thu-Sat: The Vackees at Lund Theatre, University College School, Frognal, NW3 6XH (Hampstead tube)

Thu-Sun: Imagine Children’s Festival at Southbank Centre, Belvedere Rd, SE1 (Waterloo/Embankment tube)
The festival for families rounds up this weekend, with highlights including Ten Little Pirates crafts and activities, Hugless Douglas storytelling sessions, OAE Tots family concerts, a pop-up city farm alongside the Real Food Market, author appearances, live theatre, workshops and more. Daily from around 9.30am, times and prices vary, many events are FREE (until Feb 23)
Thu-Sun: Digital Kids at V&A Museum, Cromwell Rd, SW7 2RL (South Kensington tube)
Drop in to a free workshop where kids can design their own video games to play. Also at the museum are Pop Up performances with a gaming theme, workshops to create a Fantasy Landscape for imaginary games and screenings of Wreck-It Ralph. 10.30am-5pm, FREE (until Feb 23)
Thu-Sun: Time Travelling at Museum of London, 150 London Wall, EC2Y 5HN (Barbican tube)
It’s all about time travel at the MOL’s half-term workshops. This weekend you can hear stories about history that will surprise you, create a short, illustrated guide about London to help future time-travellers, and make an interactive clock to fill with favourite objects and eras. 12.30-2pm, 2.30-4pm, FREE (Feb 20-23)

Families are invited to the Big and Small Family Day where they have the chance to explore performance, sculpture and artistic spaces. For all ages, 10am-3pm, FREE (Feb 21)

New Orleans comes kicking and swinging into Dalston at this three-day riot of food, music, art exhibition and more food! The team behind live immersive cinema events Secret Cinema bring another stunning recreation of a classic film to the Troxy. Mixing film noir, live action and animation, Future Cinema presents Who Framed Roger Rabbit gives Roger, Jessica Rabbit and the cast of Toon Town a super slick revamp.
