A Guide to Raising Your #RoyalBaby

July 31, 2013 //  by Uju//  Leave a Comment

Persil Royal Baby packs

Only a handful of my readers will know this (I’m counting family and a few close friends), but I’m a princess by birth.

I don’t get to ponce around with a tiara or live in a palace, but our family’s royal lineage can be traced back for generations.

And in my hometown of Onitsha-ado in Nigeria, I’m officially known as ‘Kpari’, aka Princess of the Umuezearoli clan.

Recognise.

So I should know a thing or two about raising a royal baby.

Except on this side of reality, we’re far more ‘common’ than K Middy, and my boys are more ruffneck than regal (although they do like to lord it over us when they get the chance).

Bringing Up Baby: The Royal Edition.

Persil Non-Bio and Comfort Pure sent us complimentary** Royal Baby celebration packs of washing powder and liquid softener, along with their free Guide to Raising your Baby like a Royal.

Written in association with Royal Etiquette expert Jean Broke-Smith, the tongue-in-cheek guide features useful tips on everything from ‘making your baby’s kingdom as clean and soft as can be’ to dealing with the ‘paparazzi’, aka snap-happy relatives!

The PDF is filled with uber-adorable pictures of newborns (although not quite as much eye candy as their Cuddle Mastery Guide with Ben Cohen) as well as lots of sensible advice.

The Guide to Raising your Baby like a Royal would be a sweet way to welcome any new mama and her little prince or princess to the joys of modern parenting.
