Win a Mum and Baby Holiday in Tuscany (12 Days of Xmas 2012)!

December 23, 2012 //  by Uju//  3 Comments

Rita Kobrak Mum Baby Experience Holidays

When I met the lovely Rita Kobrak recently, I was struck not only by her effusive personality but by her genius business concept.

Rita runs the Mum and Baby Experience Holidays in Italy, offering exclusive mum and baby yoga and cooking breaks at her villa in Tuscany.

Villa Radicata Tuscany

Sounds heavenly?

Imagine this — a typical day at Villa Radicata begins with breakfast on the terrace, under the Tuscan sun. Then while your little ones are whisked away by friendly assistant Fernanda – described in a review in The Guardian as a ‘baby whisperer’ – you can do yoga stretches by the pool.

Don’t worry if you’re not Gwynnie and Madonna standard bendy, this is gentle yoga suitable for beginners and you’re welcome to give it a miss if it’s really not your bag.

Mum and Baby Yoga Break

After that you can go for a walk or relax, followed by a scrumptious lunch and more poolside chilling. The afternoon involves a cooking lesson with Fernanda or Giovanna where you’ll learn to prepare delicious Italian recipes using fresh ingredients.

There’s yoga again in the evening and then dinner with mum and baby dining separately, i.e. you can eat with both hands for the first time in forever! And for a special mid-week treat you get to wander out to a medieval town and market for a bit of local flavour.

You can even try your hand at making a pizza in a wood-fired oven!

Rita also runs weight loss and fitness breaks for mums hoping to get back in pre-baby shape — great help with weight management for post-pregnant ladies!* And of course dads and older siblings are welcome too. Additional kids under 4 stay free of charge.

Rita might call her service the Mum and Baby Experience, we prefer to call it BLISS.
