We didn’t have a White Christmas but the babes were covered in snow at the Littlewoods Seasonal Spectacular event recently.
Ok, so it was fake snow but they still had a blast sliding around and chucking snowballs at poor Santa.
Littlewoods had invited several bloggers and their families for an evening of mulled wine, hot chocolate and nibbles and to browse their party frocks and other sales items.
The kids each got a must-have present from Father Christmas — Jed was delighted with his talking Buzz Lightyear and Ezra thought his strange hovercraft toy was cool (we took it out of the packet and I can’t figure out what it’s called now!).
The best part for me was being able to catch up on gossip with some friends and relax with a drink, while the babes got up to mischief — I think Santa definitely needed a stiff drink after the snowball assault.
Littlewoods has a fab selection of toys and games, daytime and party wear, items for the home and gadgets and many of them are up to half-price. Browsing their online catalogue seems like a much cushier option than struggling with other bargain hunters in the Boxing Day sales!
