Three Ways to Liven Up Your Car’s Interior

October 28, 2012 //  by Uju//  Leave a Comment

I don’t spend a lot of time in our car these days but for many mamas, whose days go by ferrying mini passengers about town, the family car becomes a home away from home.

Here are 3 ideas for making the daily journey a little more pleasant.

Three Ways to Liven Up Your Car’s Interior (Guest Post)

There are few pleasures to be gained from spending time in the featureless landscape of the modern car interior. Those acres of identikit fittings and monotonous colour schemes are a surefire recipe for boredom, but with a little sprinkle of accessorising magic, you can turn that oh-so dull people carrier into something moderately more eye-catching. Here are three of the best ways to give your car that personal touch:

Seat Covers
One of the easiest ways to alter your car’s interior, these covers are available in a myriad of colours and fabrics. Go for something that matches your car’s exterior colour or throw caution to the wind and choose something completely different.

Baby seats
While this may not seem like the most obvious choice, the sheer wealth of options available in this area these days means that choosing baby seats can be as much a stylistic decision as a practical one. An increasing number of manufacturers are realising that this essential purchase can benefit from being just a touch more visually interesting.

Floor Mats
Next on the list, fitting some custom floor mats is again a great way to inject a bit of colour and life into your journeys. Make sure to choose correctly fitting sizes, but once you’ve got that sorted you can go wild with patterns, prints, and designs galore.

If you’re into racier car accessories like shift handles and foot pedals, have a look at this list of interior styling parts, great for Christmas gifts!

So, there you have it. Three ways in which you can drastically improve the space inside your car and make it a more fashionable and colourful place to be.
