Mummy took me to a place called Bluewater, out in Kent. It’s a big shopping centre with a lake and a pirate’s castle outside surrounded by ducks, swans and boats. Really cool.
We had breakfast at Leon where I drank loads of my favourite pint. Then the lovely ladies from Crocs took us over to the store for its grand opening. They had balloons, a ribbon cutting and everything.
The Crocs store at Bluewater is super colourful and smells all shiny and new. And so many shoes! Mummy’s smile got very big in there and she kept taking pictures and trying on different pairs. She said she couldn’t believe the range of styles.
We spotted shoes that my Dad would like too – although he’d prefer these in red.
I knew exactly which Crocs I wanted. They’re crocodile green and just as snappy. I’ve been wearing them every day, even with my socks on and when it’s been raining.
Mum finally picked out a pair of shoes** that looked like somebody sliced them up. She says they’re the most comfortable shoes she’s worn in forever and that they let her feet breathe. Silly Mummy. Feet don’t have noses!
She must really have liked them though because she left her favourite trainers in her bag and we both rocked our Crocs all the way home.
