Babes Love… St James’ Park (Trendy Toddler)

February 14, 2012 //  by Uju//  4 Comments

For our Valentine’s edition of Trendy Toddler Tuesday, I decided to share two photos (above and below) of my beloved boys, on a beautiful day out in the city that we love to call home.

We had enjoyed an amazing stay at a 5 star family hotel near the South Bank, one of our favourite parts of town.

It was a gorgeous afternoon in early September when we wandered down to St. James’ Park and even though it was heaving with tourists, the sunlight cast a serene glow over everything.

I love these shots because each of my models somehow managed to strike a pose looking almost exactly like the ducks in the background. Right down to the colour tones.

Tres ‘high fashion’, n’est ce pas?

St. James’ Park is known for its wildlife variety and on that single afternoon we spotted everything from black swans to pelicans – sadly too distant for my camera phone’s zoom.

London’s stunning parks are one of the many reasons we love this city – in the space of a few hours you can pretend you’re countrified and still keep it street!

Style File

Khaki cotton shirt (Jed) – Primark
Ice cream beard – model’s own

White cotton shirt (Ezra) – Levi’s
Jeans – Gap Kids
Playboy lean – model’s own

I just cracked up with the duck comment…and yes, they do look similar! Ahhh, how I miss the parks in London. Seriously, I think I went to every one. Hope you had a good V-Day…did the hubby have to work late?

VDay was lovely, we surprised hubby at the cart with cupcakes and cards ;-) And nope, he came home on time for cuddles and we watched Roman Holiday :-)

Thanks Liz, they melt mine too – that’s when they’re not frying my brain! ;-)
