It’s 21 years since the one-stop kids’ shop opened on King’s Road and to celebrate their coming of age, they’re throwing a huge Party in the Square with donkey rides, petting zoo, carousel, food stalls, mums’ pampering corner and special guest appearances. Watch a sparkling procession as Disney’s heroines go on a horse-drawn procession for the first time ever through Central London. Catch the action along Mount Walk to Kensington Palace. The parade is followed by a VIP, invite-only bash inside the palace in honour of Disney’s 11th princess Rapunzel. From 1-1.30pm, free (Oct 2)
Sat: Danger Mouse and Mr. Benn at the Illustration Cupboard, 22 Bury St, London SW1 (Green Park tube)
Celebrate 30 years of the loveable rodent (top pic) and 40 years of the enigmatic Mr Benn with rare book illustrations, pencil drawings and film cels from the classic TV series.
