Fri-Sun: Taste of London, Regent’s Park, NW1
The park becomes the ultimate gastro turf as celeb chefs and famous restaurants take over for the annual feast of tastings, cooking masterclasses, bespoke menus and wine tutorials. Adult £26/Child £14. 12-4pm & 5.30-9pm (Fri-Sat), 12-5pm (Sun) (Jun 16-19)

Sat-Sun: Open Weekend at The Pirate Castle, Oval Rd, NW1
Two days packed with naught-ical fun including canal boat trips, canoeing, launch of new Pirate Ship, face painting, puppet making, toddler and baby sensory area, cheap food and more. 11am-5pm (Sat & Sun), Free entry (Jun 18-19)

Sun: London Dragon Boat Festival, London Regatta Centre, Dockside Rd, E16 (Royal Albert DLR)
Enter the dragon, on water, as more than 40 spectacular dragon boat teams compete in the annual race. Spectator fun includes Lion Dance, kung fu demos, children’s play area and crazy golf. 12-5pm, Free (Jun 19)
