On this weekend’s menu: a gastronomic treat for real foodies, a digital festival in Shoreditch and a mash-up of classic fairytales on the South Bank. Enjoy!

Fri-Sun: Real Food Festival, Earl’s Court Exhibition Halls, SW5
Foodies from afar gather at this one-stop shop for gourmands featuring workshops, tastings, demos, celeb chefs, and more than 400 producers of quality grub. Highlights for families include the Kids’ Taste Tent and Jamie Oliver’s new food range. 4-8pm (Thu), 11am-5pm (Fri & Sun), 11am-6pm (Sat). Adults £13.50 adv/£20 door. Under 16s Free (May 5-8)

Sat: Digital Shoreditch: Family Day, Shoreditch Studios, 37 Batemans Row EC2
It’s been hailed as London’s answer to Silicon Valley. Now the techie creative community of Shoreditch showcases its best and brightest works on this special day of interactives and installations for all the family. 11am-4pm. Adult £5/Kids Free. Book tickets in advance. (May 7)

Sat-Sun: Not So Grimm Fairytales at Southbank Centre, SE1
A rip-roaring adventure starring all your favourite characters from Little Red Riding Hood and the Three Pigs, to a very wicked wolf. This colourful production, part of the Udderbelly Festival, will enchant old and young. £10, 4.15pm start (May 7-8 & May 21)
