Fri-Sun: Chocolate Festival at Southbank Centre, SE1
Feast your senses at a weekend of indulgence for chocoholics on the riverside. Bag some treats for Christmas. 11am-8pm (Fri), 11am-6pm (Sat-Sun). Free entry (Dec 10-12)

Fri-Sun: The Nutcracker Bloomsbury Theatre, WC1
The magic of Xmas is unveiled by a cast of dancers including 120 kids in this popular ballet set to Tchaikosvky’s music. Perfs 7pm (Fri), 2.30pm & 5.30pm (Sat-Sun). £20/£15 concs. (Dec 10-12)

Sun: Battersea High Street Christmas Extravaganza, (York Road End) SW11
A Victorian style fair and market with stilt walkers, fire eaters, burlesque, fun fair, donkey rides, mulled wine and of course a Santa’s Grotto. Plus the streets are lit for Xmas for the first time ever! 12-5pm

The kids festival of the summer is back with a bang for Crimbo with a whole day of fun activities and workshops for all ages, including festive beat boxing to hula hooping and gingerbread man icing.
