Party at the Pleasance Theatre

July 9, 2010 //  by Uju//  Leave a Comment

It’s a non-stop party this Saturday as the Pleasance Theatre in Islington hosts its Big Day Out.

This 12-hour celebration attracts kids young and old for (mostly) free events, stalls and yummy grub from the Woodstore Bar and Grill.

Little ones will love Polly Dunbar’s Penguin, the story of a lonely boy and his waddling buddy, as told by puppets. They can join in puppet workshops, watch Comedy for Kids or unleash their inner rebels with the Mischief Makers Protest Camp.

There’s loads of grown-up fun with shows going on until 11pm featuring the likes of Kiwi circus act The Butler and Tony award-winner Frances Ruffelle, the original Eponine in Les Miserables.

Ooh la la!

Big Day Out is from 11am to 11pm at the Pleasance Theatre, Carpenters Mews, North Rd, N7 9EF
