Family Circus

January 31, 2010 //  by Uju//  Leave a Comment

Russia’s ‘greatest love machine’ Rasputin is the central focus of Legenda, the dazzling new spectacle from the Moscow State Circus running in London this week.

The show is themed around the bearded one’s dreams and includes a mix of acrobatic stunts guaranteed to unhinge your jaws.

Catch the swinging duo, the Didyks, as they catapult themselves into the big top. Watch the Bortnikova team twist themselves like human pretzels.

Feel your heart leap into your mouth as Mrs. Popazov uses seven simultaneous crossbows to shoot one apple off the top of her husband’s head.

Don’t try any of this at home.

And once the babies have gone to bed, enjoy a post-show vodka to calm your nerves.

Moscow State Circus is at Fairfield Halls in Croydon from February 1-3. Visit the web site for other dates around the UK.
