Dates with Dads: Life of Pi at London Zoo

April 25, 2013 //  by Uju//  2 Comments

Life of Pi at London Zoo

Mr & Mrs Babe are planning a ‘wild’ night out.

Next week, we’ll be heading to an exclusive screening of Life of Pi at London Zoo!

The screenings are happening all week long but tickets from Thu-Sat are already sold out, so book NOW if you fancy it.

The evening kicks off with some champagne on the house and a twilight tour of the brand new London Zoo exhibit Tiger Territory.

Meet resident Sumatran tigers Melati and Jae Jae and learn about how they’re helping to save tigers worldwide.

Then settle back on the lawns and watch the Oscar-winning film on full-size HD cinema screens. In case you’re wondering, wireless headphones will be provided so the animals don’t get freaked out by surround sound!

Life of Pi is rated PG, so there’s nothing to stop you making this a family affair. But we pre-fur it couples only. *cheesy grin*

Zoo Lates is Coming

And if you don’t make it to this screening, the popular Zoo Lates series kicking off again at London Zoo in June is a brilliant spot for a date night or girlie escape, offering a chance to tour the zoo after dark, live DJs, acoustic stages, rides and street food stalls.

Tickets for Life of Pi at London Zoo are available Mon-Wed (Apr 29-May 1), £20, screening from 7-10.30pm. Visit www.zsl.org/zsl-london-zoo

Dates with Dads is a new series on Babes about Town where we suggest fun ideas for ‘date nights’ or afternoon escapes with your baby daddy, either at home or around town. Look out for more coming soon!

Thank you for the tip, this is going to be a great section on your site. Sometimes we forget about going out on a date and when we want to do it we don’t even know where to go or what to do. Love that movie!

Hi Marie, thanks for your feedback! We haven’t seen the film yet so we’re both really looking forward to it, and checking out the new Tiger Territory too. I know exactly what you mean about trying to figure out what to do for a date, which is what inspired this series. Stay tuned for more!
