Big things are happening at Babes HQ next month. February is when we celebrate 3 birthdays in our household, as well as my unofficial blogoversary.
Although I published the first post on Babes about Town towards the end of January 2010, I don’t think I really hit my blogging stride for at least a month… possibly longer!
I’m still reeling from the idea that I’m about to be the mother of a fully-fledged, more than half my size, disturbingly articulate and semi-detached 7-year-old. Even more shocking, my baby will be turning 4. How time zooms.
Many of you will have seen my babes grow and watched this blog evolve over the years and hopefully you’ll continue reading and supporting us on our journey to bring you the best of city life for parents.
I’m putting together some exciting new content to help make Babes about Town more resourceful and more user-friendly and it all kicks off in Birthday Month!
Meantime, I’ve been shopping around for presents for the boys (and maybe a little treat for myself) and since money’s tight after Christmas I’m checking out voucher codes websites like MyDeals.com**.
This fairly new site (established in 2012) makes discount shopping easy by creating a personalised experience so you only see deals that are relevant to you.
With a database of more than 100,000 popular UK retailers including Prezzy Box, Mothercare and John Lewis, there’s loads of offers uploaded daily.
I’m thinking of taking the babes to the British Music Experience as a birthday treat and I found a 20% discount entry offer on the MyDeals.com site. You can get this deal here for the next 11 months. Rock on!
Look out for more birthday deals and tips from us in February as we celebrate Birthday Month.

Aww thanks so much and you know I absolutely feel the same way about you. We’re a bit sickening aren’t we? But I’m unapologetic. Thanks for the birthday wishes, this year is going to rock for sure ;-)
