Every now and then a product comes along that’s so damn brilliant it makes you want to kick your partner (far more satisfying than kicking yourself).
This clever piece of kit, as displayed by my eldest, is called My Carry Potty. It’s designed by mum Amanda Jenner who found that her toddler would only sit on his favourite potty and wound up carrying it everywhere.
My Carry Potty is a no-spill, odour-tight, snap and go training toilet with carry handle making it ideal for travelling, especially on long car journeys or just regular pit-stops when you’re out and about.
It’s a winner if you’re squeamish about public toilets or your little one’s still afraid of the big seat. There are no messy bags to deal with, just flush away the contents when you get a chance.
As soon as we opened the package, Jed couldn’t wait to use it and he gets a real sense of satisfaction from carrying his potty up and down. Since it’s balanced by the lid, there’s no worries that it will tip over when he stands up. Also it looks far neater tucked away in our living room than his regular ’emergency’ potty.

I LOVE this! I’m registering as a child minder and this would be ideal for me. Having been in a situation the other day where I had to abandon my picnic blanket and go stand in the bush with my little boy shouting “no you need to hold it up don’t wee on yourself”. I don’t fancy a repeat of that. :)

Oi! I NEED one of these! Been trying to talk to them but they haven’t responded to me :( Little M will only sit in the potty, so we have one that uses bags and its rubbish.
