We were invited to a ‘play party’ hosted by Fisher Price during the Baby Show event in Earl’s Court last Friday.
It was a great excuse to catch up with other bloggers, even though I was travelling that night and had been dashing around all morning like a headless hen.
At Fisher Price, play is serious business. They develop and test their toys by setting up play labs where little ones can explore new products under observation.
I’m not sure what the FP experts would have noted by watching Jed at play that day, other than that he’s a little tearaway.
I spent half the afternoon chasing him up and down the hallways after he was – frankly – led astray by another Cookie monster (cute Oli of Me the Man and the Baby fame)!
The other bubbas were having a whale of a time trying out toys, jumping on inflatable rings and being entertained by play specialists in orange dungarees. These ladies were so full of bounce that Jacqui (Mummy’s Little Monkey) and I wondered if we could take them home with us.
Speaking of Jacqui, it was lovely to finally meet her newest addition Natalya, she’s precious! Also cool to connect with some other faces from CyberMummy including Cherished by Me, Maria Jose of Mummy’s Busy World, Rebecca of Two Become Four and Carly of Mummy’s Shoes.
And the goody bags were fab. Poor Jed didn’t get a chance to play with his Fisher Price kitchen before we travelled, but we’ll have a review for you once we’re back.
Oh, and did I mention that Tamzin Outhwaite (star of Sweet Charity, formerly Eastenders) was also partying with her sweet daughter, nephew and their grandparents. If only I’d known I’d be snapped next to such a yummy mummy I might have tarted up a little!
Actually, I think Jed’s stealing the show.
Thanks to Vicky and the Fisher Price crew for a fun event!

I wanted so much to be there, but the week was very hectic for me.
The fertility show seems promising but I am away so I can’t make it.
I am glad you had a fab time.

Hey Ms Baby Plan,
Ah I didn’t know it would have been cool to meet you in person. And I totally understand about hectic, life has just been over the top and pretty draining but hopefully will get back into the swing of things.
Still haven’t fully caught up with many of the bloggers I met there but I plan to!
