Enjoy music from South America and South Africa and join in workshops as musicians from the Grand Union Orchestra take over the museum for an afternoon. 12-4pm, free

Sat: Baby Loves Samba
Mini movers shake their maracas as the popular Baby Loves Disco event gets a Latin groove makeover at Clore Ballroom, Southbank Centre SE1. Free, 2.30-5pm

Baby O: Opera for Babies
A sensory show for babies aged 6-18 months featuring baritone, soprano and mezzo-soprano singers in the gardens at the Riverside Studios, Hammersmith. At 10.30am, 11.30am and 1.30pm, min £10 (Aug 14-15)
